Have you tried the Bloc Loc rulers? I use them in almost every quilt I make and just love them.  For this quilt, I used the Flying Geese 2" x 4" ruler and the 2 1/2" Half Square Triangle.  These rulers are NOT required, just recommended, because they are so helpful!
