I made my very first quilt in 1999. It was a log cabin, set in the barn-raising layout - and it was king size (what in the world was I thinking?)! That is still one of my favorite patterns and layouts. Another favorite of mine are basket blocks - it doesn't really matter what type of baskets - I love them all. Well then, what could be better than a quilt with baskets AND log cabins? How about a basket/log cabin quilt made out of red, black and tan fabrics? Yep...it doesn't get much better than that!
